Summary

As part of the Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection Project, this phase focuses on extending the 4th Avenue NE levee to improve long-term flood resilience within the City of Minot. The work includes large-scale excavation, levee backfill, structural fill, utility installation, riprap placement, and stormwater improvements. Complex coordination was required for dewatering activities, settlement monitoring, and managing multiple subcontractors across paving, utilities, and structural concrete scopes—all while maintaining access for residents and protecting nearby waterways.
