The scope of the project was construction of infrastructure replacement including new sanitary sewer mains and service lines with bypass pumping, new storm sewer mains and inlets, new water mains and service lines with temporary water supply, new sidewalks with ADA compliant pedestrian ramps, new concrete street lighting, demolition of existing items, abandonment of existing sub-sidewalk vaults, traffic control and erosion control. Challenges consisted phasing of the work to allow businesses to remain open. Coordination with other contractors in the area working on different projects and maintaining roadway base on steep grades.
